This event encourages individuals, communities, and businesses to turn off non-essential lights for one hour, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, as a symbolic act to raise awareness about climate change and the need for energy conservation.

At TK Palace, we went beyond just turning off the lights. Our team took several steps to reduce our energy consumption throughout the day. We adjusted our air conditioning systems to a more energy-efficient temperature of 25°C, encouraged our staff to dress in comfortable, simple clothing, and minimized the use of electronic devices wherever possible.

Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

The actions we took during Earth Hour are part of our broader strategy to reduce our carbon footprint. By operating air conditioning units at an optimal temperature, we significantly cut down on energy use while still maintaining a comfortable environment for our guests.
